I hope they do cancel. If, contrary to this news story, the IMF and WB
do still hold meetings, we *have* to get out there and protest, but do
so totally nonviolently. I mean nonviolence like Martin Luther King.
We're in a Catch-22. If they meet and we don't protest, we're admitting
that our movement has something in common with terrorism. If they still
meet, we protest, and we allow the police to goad us into physical
resistance, the media will lump us all into one slimy ball called
terrorism.
