From Very Senior To Entry Level
The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is the largest and

the highly successful Justice for Janitors campaign, and is a national
leader in the fight for universal health coverage, a living wage for
all, affirmative action, and the rights of all workers regardless of
immigration status.
About the Positions
Hiring immediately: communications directors, senior campaign
communications specialists, mid-level and entry level communication
staff to support SEIU's organizing, political, legislative and other
strategic campaigns. Positions open in Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego,
Sacramento, and Denver.
Evening and weekend work and travel required. Competitive salary and an
excellent benefits package (including full employer-paid health, dental
and pension plans, paid leave time, car allowance).
Qualifications and Experience
Commitment to economic and social justice. Superior writing skills.
Proven experience in media relations, public affairs or campaign
communications (for mid-level and senior positions). Experience with the
labor movement or other advocacy organizations preferred. Fluency in
Spanish a plus.
