Well, that's the main thing.

Anyway, we're all for the US missile defence thingy (as we're all for
greenhouse gases, exclusive bilateral trade-distortion agreements with the
USA, welfare degradation, and gratuitously offending the Chinese) -
Australians are very brave and embrace the challenges of globalisation with
open arms, steely eyes fixed fixed ever on a better future.

Of course, desperate Afghani and Iraqi families on little wooden boats or
Norwegian freighters terrify us.  But that's because they're an unprecedented
threat to our national sovereignty and the egalitarian principles that made us great.
