Globalisation of capital
Much of the radical left insist that there is no such phenomenon as
globalisation. They claim that it is merely a propaganda ploy advanced by the
bourgeoisie. They argue that capitalism has not been restructured in such a way
that the contradiction between the capital relation and the nation state has
become much more accentuated. They cannot see that the globalisation of
capital that has led to the development of the contradiction between capital.
Consequently they dont see thatthe nation state is responsible for the
particular response of European monopoly
capital. European capital's response to the growing globalisation of capital has
led to its developing a new strategy. This explains the European imperialist
bourgeoisie's strategy of increasing the integration of the European imperialist
bourgeoisie under the European Union. The International Socialist Organisation
see globalisation as forming part of a propaganda campaign designed to
intimidate workers and suppress trade union struggle.
