Marx's theory of politics and history
"Even those who today, for example, most explicitly repudiate Marx's theory
of politics and history have absorbed many of his ideas,
which have passed into common currency."
Aside by Stuart Hampshire, 1988, in "Spinoza, An Introduction to this
Philosphical Thought", making an analogy with the widespread influence of
"Cartesianism".
