Can anyone tell me why I get the messages from this virus from
people that I do not know at all?
the virus picks up email addresses from sites you may have
visited. additionally, both mozilla and outlook have a facility
for "collecting" email addresses from messages you receive
(which could be from mailing lists, etc) and so if someone
received a message from you, you might be in their collected
addresses and hence receive the virus.
