Well yeah, but this is the pen-l list, who is saying that a miracle
occurred? improvements occurred in producitivity in the 1990's, especially
in the manufacturing sector, no?
Your argument against a 'new economy' emerging seems consistent with
Brenner btw, who argues that there is nothing really new about the source
of growth in the US during the 90's, it comes from increases in
productivity in the manufacturing sector.
