Only if you think that these issues don't matter can you be proud of a vote for Nader in 2000. And if you don't think that these issues matter, I don't know what you are doing here...

I presumed that everyone here thought that issues of workplace safety vs. employer powers, of progressive vs. regressive tax systems, of environmental protection vs. the right to pollute, of detente vs. new cold wars were important.
Now I'm told that that is not so--that to actually care about these issues is in some way contemptible...
