G'day Tom,

Well, Tom, if ever you get sick of the island, come to Hobart - it has a lot
of the Vancouver about it (find some pictures - from some angles, it's
uncanny), is doomed to be ignored by the silver-tailed city-assessors forever
(it's not the liveability that's the problem, it's the ruling ideas of the
epoch), is much smaller (140000), much cheaper, moves at the pace of a wombat,
has a moderately civilised Labor government, and has the world's largest ocean
between it and the slavering maw. I pine more every day.

Cheers,
Rob.
