Worth checking out http://www.gorewonflorida.org to see the numbers from the statewide recounts by the consoritum of news organizations recounting ballots statewide. By the standard of where votes were "reasonably clear", Gore won by 29,756 votes. And by the narrower standard of where the vote was "perfectly clear", Gore still won by 1017 votes.
