Re: Brits want nationalisation of rail.



Chris writes about the privatized British railroad system.  It makes me think
that we might do well to construct a web site with a catalog, short
description and links to failures of privatization and deregulation.  Maybe
one exists already.

Someone could contribute about the problem with the Ottawa water supply,
British railroads, California electricity deregulation, etc.

I think that especially with the election of Bush and the prospects of a
recession, we should have an easier time in making ourselves heard about the
problem markets.
