Re: reaching out
There is a strong rumor that Ken Lay of Enron might be the next Sec. of
Energy. Some weight to it because Enron just named a new CEO. Ken Lay and
Enron have strong-armed foreign governments over deals, always with the
backing of the US government. And of course Enron is a major force in the
de-regulation movement in the US, with major damage to the environment,
jobs, and consumer pockets.
Some oil guy will be Secretary of Energy and some would be worse than
others.
