I don't think I was direspectful towards you to merit this reply, which is why I dislike all these accusations re: this or that classical thinker being a racist or a slaver, because such discussions always deteriorate into personal attacks. I may be curt at times but this is at far as it goes. You also get to know how I feel about something which is, I think, better than the passive aggression you find in anglo-saxon culture.
could you point me to the place where i was disrespectful or engaging in a personal attack. i corrected your misinterpretation and your assumption that i needed to be lectured on the uses of rationality in weber's work. this would be no more of a personal attack than your felt need to correct what you believed was my misuse of weber's concept of rationality.
