Is the beginning of the end for the so-called boom? Doug usually has a skeptical response to such questions. But here goes: We are seeing a spike in energy prices, higher interest prices abroad, a momentary sign of inflation, and a slowdown in employment.
I don't know, but the timing is right for the US elections. A downturn starting now wouldn't have much impact on who wins.
