What makes you think that rightwing revolts can not have mass support? The
coup in Chile was preceded by massive street mobilizations, including
truckers and housewives banging pans. As in Chile, there would have not
been a rightwing revolt if the United States had not meddled in these
country's internal affairs. As Kissinger said, "We can not allow the
foolishness of a people to allow them to choose socialism" or some such thing.

Self-determination? Gore took heat because he was involved with taking
money from East Asian millionaires. And then we turn around and pour money
into the Yugoslav elections that proportionately would represent something
like 1 billion dollars in contributions to Gore from the Chinese Communist
Party. And then we talk about it openly like its okay? This is an
absolutely slap in the face to democracy and self-determination.
