This caught my eye when I read the hard copy of the LA TIMES that came this
morning. How does the reporter know that there aren't covert funds? the
role of covert funds in Guatemala, Iran and Chile wasn't revealed until
years later!

Louis, thanks for sending this, since I don't seem to get a chance to read
the newspaper in any serious way any more. Dealing with a sorta-autistic
(especially in the morning) kid, it's a battle. [the technical name is
Asperger's syndrome.] Making matters worse, the currently-working strategy
(wait a couple of days and it will change) is to play into his fantasy of
being in the army. I'm the sergeant, he's the private. "Sir! yes Sir!"
