Job Openning for Scholar-Activist
Western New York Law Center (WNYLC), a not-for-profit public interest
law firm, seeks to fill either full-time or part-time position for
advocacy project. The project promotes community reinvestment and fair
lending practices. Ideal candidate will be committed to issues of
economic justice and be highly skilled in data analysis.
Responsibilities will include community organizing and ability to use
computer databases to manage datasets and generate reports. Academic
background in one or more of the following areas is recommended:
economics, public policy, urban planning, housing policy, community
development, and banking regulation. Bachelor?s degree required and
Master?s degree in related field a plus. Candidate should be a
self-starter with the ability to initiate and follow through with
projects. Candidate must have good writing skills. Please submit salary
