No. Remember, first of all, that the dispossessed are not only white
farmowners, but Black employees who have worked on those farms. These
are relatively high-paying jobs for rural Zimbabwe that they are
losing to political clients of the Mugabe regime.

Remember, second of all, that these farms have over the past decade
been a powerful source of exports and thus of hard-currency earnings
with which to finance investment in Zimbabwe.
