If you pay attention to the syntax of the parenthetical remark above, it's
very clear that I didn't say the AJ was your ally, though your tax dollars
were at work supporting it. The Reagan administration brought in AJ
gorillas to train the contras in the war against Nicaragua, if I remember
correctly.
More importantly, you simply ignore the primary clause to quibble about a
parenthetical one. It was your government (and mine, alas) that organized
the troops that dumped suspected NLF members out of the helicopters into
the South China Sea.
