lesser of two evils

In California this year, the repug. candidate may be to the left of the
democrate, Feinstein, who was a neoliberal even in her tenure as mayor of
San Francisco.

I am sure that on some issues she may be better than her opponent, but the
overall difference between the two is slight.  The major difference so far
is that she has more $$$$.
