It is self-evident from the best deductive logic that the competition among
nation-states that produces war serves consumer needs best, as the lust for
national power can only succeed if it keeps the consumer happy as they
choose which side to endorse. (They can vote not only with their dollars,
but their bodies.) It also encourages efficiency in the use of weaponry
(and of course human resources) to attain national goals, along with
innovation in the ways of war, something which has clearly benefited
humankind during the last century. (Think of how nuclear power spun off
from the use of nuclear weapons! Even the invention of Zyklon-B helped the
insecticide industry.) In the end, only the fittest survive.
