Looting the banks

If any of you teach a course in Financial Markets
and are looking for interesting readings on the
S&L crisis to assign, I highly recommend a
review of several books on the S&L scandal
(including the two mentioned by Lou and
Michael) written for the Nation by Robert
Sherrill a few years back.  It's about 20 pages long,
brilliantly written.
