Considering Lange's own methodological and political commitments, don't
you think it would at least be worth getting a second opinion
from, say, Bukharin.


yeah, after all, in his POLITICAL ECONOMY, Lange states one of the crudest
statements of the technological-determinist version of the materialist
conception of history. He's a predecessor of GA Cohen, though less pretentious.
