How about just straight up more economic transfers. As noted, I support
defeating the China deal, but a progressive coalition also needs to raise
real debt abolition as a top demand, along with other key economic transfers
such as:

** free (or at least low-cost) transfer of lifesaving drugs to third world
** full compensation by North to countries engaged in environmental
preservation to make up for the North's already full exploitation and
detruction of its resources
** financial transfers to pay for education and family support for
developing nations children to complement abolition of child labor

And so on. In the ideal, fair trade and labor standards would be
associated with a global unemployment fund-- we are obviously a few
iterations of reform away from that point, but the post-Seattle organizing
has to make economic solidarity and transfers a key part of combatting the
argument that free traders are the ones dedicated to helping the third world
poor.
