Max, We're still waiting to hear the long list of Third World unions that are calling for trade sanctions against their own countries' exports as useful tools to help them out in their struggles. Will you be the one to provide this extensive list? . . . Barkley Rosser >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
No I will not.
Of course, in countries where unions are illegal and unionism is a capital crime, such endorsements could prove difficult to obtain.
Barkley's gone - but not forgotten, of course. For anyone so inclined, the ICFTU has a lot on the WTO at <http://www.icftu.org/campaigns/WTO/index.html>. I'm the first to admit the ICFTU is not the perfect working class international, but it does represent something like 125 million union members in over 140 countries.
