Yes, but that's because most protesters there weren't really 'anti-capitalist.' We got a long way to go.
I really don't understand this reasoning. Who's dictating to whom? U.S. union people are saying to listen to unions in the "developing" world. The AFL-CIO had at 7-10 unionists from Africa, Asia, and Latin America at their rally, all arguing for the right to organize and the principle of solidarity. We're talking basic labor rights, not a $12.50/hr global minimum wage. Is the spontaneous consciousness of intellectuals an anti-trade union consciousness?
