This seems very confused. The delegates of the Third World nations
are representatives of the capitalist classes of those countries. To
say they speak for their whole populations is something I'd expect of
the New York Times, not of a PEN-Ler. And though I didn't get a
chance to do a poll, I'd bet that many, maybe even most, of the
demonstrators would agree with you on the global warming issue. It
sounds like you're looking for excuses to be a loyal free-trading
member of the economics profession.
