I have never known anyone who was cured by talking to a psychiatrist. Perhaps
that merely reflects my limited experience.
I do have a relative diagnosed as a psychotic. Medication has stopped her from
hearing voices, but I suspect that chemical psychology is greatly overused --
especially because it is capital-rather than labor-intensive.
