didn't the Trotskyist Hugo Blanco organize (and arm) peasants in Peru? If I
remember correctly, some Trotskyists were criticized by the Left in general
because they organized and armed peasants and then left them to defend
themselves against the Army. And some of the armed movements in Latin
America are Trotskyist in name or in origin.
