so forth are truly *yours*, are what make you *you*, and that other
people should pay attention to them as they stand--that they are
somehow not the result of overlapping episodes of programming carried
out by society, nature and chance (and hence worth paying attention
to only to the extent that society, nature, and chance have moral
authority)?...
