[PEN-L:9315] RE: Eloquence in motion: "You win some, you lose som e."

Unity in tragedy and triumph? Is that sort of like July 23, 1969 on which at
the same time Apollo 11 was landing on the Moon, Ted Kennedy was driving off
a bridge at Chappaquiddick and both events shared front page coverage?

BTW, I heard that the American Woman's Soccer team apologized to the Chinese
soccer team for their victory; apparently they had actually intended to
defeat a woman's soccer team from a Serbian armaments factory.

Clinton Says JFK Jr. Loss, Soccer Win Unites U.S.

President Clinton said the nation had shown unity in tragedy and in triumph
Monday as he welcomed the world champion U.S. women's soccer team on the
same White House lawn where John F. Kennedy Jr. romped as a child.
