LeRoy has gathered wonderful statistics about the subsidy per job that has been
given by state and local gov'ts. Even the Fed. Reserve Bank of Minn. has come
out against such subidies in general -- I don't know how they stood on the
Minneapolis stadium.
Perhaps if some of the poor would only declare themselves to be a sports team,
money would flow to them.
