Such a development has been implicit in the US (nato) aggression from
the beginning -- it is the only war strategy the Pentagon has had for
50 years. But as you know Lou from your own experience, "mighty
protests" don't come from merely the need for them. They are built
up over time. Within the U.S. at least (I don't know enough about
the rest of the world) we are months, perhaps over a year, from the
capacity to generate mighty protests.

Of course this is all the more reason for pushing now efforts to build
an anti-war coalition.
