How about Choussodovsky's _The Globalization of Poverty_. Also the work
of Robert Cox and Stephen Gill (though pretty heavy on Marxist theory).
I've found Michael Hudson _Trade, Develoment and Debt_ Pluto 1991. to be
most valuable. Jane Kelsey "Economic Fundamentalism" contains a good
exposition and critique of structural adjustment theory and reality as
applied to NZ.
