The Maximum Leader is aloft; tomorrow two political corpses will confer
about the terms of their interment.
The Russians are really in better shape than we are; they at least have
something in their modern heritage to steer by. No re-run of 1917-24,
but at least the overthrow of legitimate order has its own legitimacy.
Americans are still at the stage of channel-changing, I fear.
