[PEN-L:359] Re: Employment Policy Inst.??

The Employment Policy Institute gets its funding from the fast food industry. It
was implicated in the Newt Gingrich case -- not of anything criminal on its part.
They have been funding work to discredit the Card/Krueger research on the minimum
wage.

I know that the fast food industry was very active in the 226 election in
California.

A union person from Washington State contacted me about this earlier. He was more
knowledgeable than I am.
