Munitz was not entirely anti-faculty, but he wanted to allow the
administration to control the entire salary structure, deciding which
individuals get raises and how much, instead of increasing everybody's
salary by a fixed percentage.
Munitz also spearheaded the drive to privatize all of our information
processing/communications. The plan failed. Our own Nathan Newman was
instrumental in defeating it.
