Jim, I'm sorry I've copped out of this debate: you and Lou and others don't need my help anyway, but my two
penn'orth is that I support what you are doing down the line; and (not that they need my support anyway) I
also believe that the Inuit right to hunt is clear, unarguable and cannot be qualified by talk about
'waste', which is simply racist nonsense, in context.

Having said all THAT, I think the politics of the thing need to be a little less reflexive and more
tactical. Who are the Inuits natural allies and natural foes? I'm sure that the granola eating green m/c
types, tossers they/we all are, nevertheless are an important political constituence whose support can be
won and must be won. You have enough enemies without inventing more. It's necessary to engage in debate with
the Greens, not dump on them.
