There is a long list of reasons to despise Clinton, but his attack
on civil liberties has to rank high, maybe number one. Every time I go
through an airport I reflect on how much we've lost under Clinton. The TWA
bombing was a two-fer. First it was used to heighten the public's fears of
the unknown, and to agree to reductions in civil liberties. And the
airlines used it to make it harder for scammers to trade and sell tickets
as a way around the price-discrimnation the airlines practice. Now you
need a picture I.D. to use a ticket.
There was a recent shooting at a County fair near where I live.
The media quoted -- and supported - a public demand for metal-detectors at
the entrance to the fair. Searches at the entrance to a fair!!! The
public is taught to live in terror, and Michael is right, gun control is
not on the list of dealing with terror. Star Wars is.
