I notice that Dennis Peron, the San Francisco advocate of medical marijuana
(and no relative of Juan), is running for Governor as a Republican.
This year, all the different parties are lumped together in the same
primary in California, with Dems and GOPs sitting cheek-to-jowl with the
Peace & Freedom folks, the libertatians, the AIPs [American Independent
Party], and the Greens. I can vote for any party I want, even though I'm
registered P&F.
Do any of pen-l's Californians have any recommendations for candidates?
Do any of pen-l's participants have any thoughts on the impact of this
mish-mosh type of primary?
