Human Rights in China

.... or the conditions of US Jails for that matter.  Or -- pardon me for
blowing open the boders that define discussion of human rights --
democratizing Fed policy.  I remember a group of US activists in Bolivia in
the late 1970's who asked a leader of the Central Obrera Boliviana what
could be done to show solidarity with working people in Bolivia.  His answer
was "get interest rates under control at your central bank". Needless to
say, his suggestion was not followed up on.
