This is a Bill Gates joke, it seemed appropriate given the topic:

Bill Gates dies and goes to heaven.  St. Peter greets him and asks Bill
whether he would prefer to spend eternity in heaven or hell.  Gates thinks
for a moment, then says; "Gee, I didn't realize I had a choice."  St. Pete
says; "Oh yeah, we're big on free will up here."  So Bill asks; "Well, could
I see a little of both and then decide?"  St. Pete says; "Sure."

First, St. Pete shows Bill around heaven.  The place is full of people
pursuing lofty tasks: reading, researching, praying, flying around playing
harps.  Then, Bill gets taken down to hell.  Hell is a long, sandy beach with
grass huts every so often dispensing drinks.  The place is hot, but not
unbearable and there seems to be alot of partying going on.  After both
tours, Bill tells St. Pete that he finds hell a little more to his liking.
 So, St. Pete sends Bill down to Hell.

About a month later, St. Pete is sitting around with not much to do, so he
decides to go see how Bill is making out in Hell.  Bill is in this awful
dungeon, he's tied to a rack, and he's lost 50 lbs. just from sweating.  Bill
catches sight of St. Pete and croaks out in a hoarse voice; "This isn't
anything like the tour."  St. Pete smiles and responds; "Gee Bill, you of all
people should know the promo isn't anything like the REAL thing."
