[PEN-L:6832] Re: postings on penl
- Subject: [PEN-L:6832] Re: postings on penl

I must disagree with Susan on this one.
Being from the third world myself, I welcome news about the third world
with a progressive bent. However, I do not read PEN-L for news from
the third world but for progressive economic interpretations of relevant
issues. If they deal with third world issues all the better. At any rate,
there are lots of good cyberplaces where one can get news (progressive and
otherwise) on issues of one's interest.
I find S. Tell's postings to be useless because they contain so much rhetoric
and preching that whatever useful information they might contain is lost.
I also find it frustrating that seems to use this forum only as a way of
of preaching, never or very rarely engaging in discussion with members of
the list. Personally, I feel there is no loss to the list if his postings
were to stop and quite possibly an improvement through elimination of useless
noise.
