[PEN-L:1997] The turning point
- Subject: [PEN-L:1997] The turning point
- From: knoWWare@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Tom Walker)

We are all agreed, at least, on this: that there has been a decisive TURNING
POINT in the development of capitalism, the political and economic outcome
of which remains uncertain.
How would PEN-Lers define this change? Is it a fundamental change in the
organization of the labour process? Is it a political assault from capital
as a solution to a crisis of accumulation? Is it a combination of the two
(change in organization *and* political assault)?
Perhaps the remaining seven days to solstice would be better spent in
astronomical observations than in shooting fireworks into the heavens.
