[PEN-L:1874] Re: French movement situation

Following on Tom Walker's comments about the strike situation in France,
I would echo his observation that what's at stake here is not the
government's plan to put a more equitable social security system in
place, but to dismantle the existing one in the name of adhering to the
deficit targets being required by the European Monetary Union.
