[PEN-L:5210] Re: Trade Sanctions

I've checked major news papers in Japan to find out any comments
from auto industry unions about the sanction and have no luck.
If I find any reponse about the sanction by Japanese unions,
I will post it here. I believe it would be a same opinion as
those of the management. :) In fact, there's no 'independent'
trade union in Japan's auto indusry except few tiny ones.

If there's anyone here interested in labor at Japanese auto industry,
refer to 'Japan in the passing line: an insider's account of life in
a Japanese auto factory' by Satoshi Kamata. (NY : Pantheon Books, 1983)
It's one of his fine reportage. You will understand why we are very
opposite to indusrial rationalization in Japan.
