A nice little primer on the "environment" from a Marxist
perspective is John Bellamy Foster's _The Vulnerable Planet: A Short
Economic History of the Envrionment_ (Monthly Review Press's
Cornerstone Imprint, 1994). ISBN 0-85345-874-X
