Last year it came out in OZ that sevearl imported goods lines from the Peoples
Republic were in fact coming out offorced labour (prison) camps. There was a
list published of the brand-names to look out for - i recall Diamond Tools was
one. This led the OZ government to investigate and ban such imports.

there was a wonderful piece of tv reporting sneaking into a few prison camps
which sparked the revelations.

Does it matter? what the difference b/tw the US and CHina or the practice per
se? the latter must be a concern at least.
