pen and pine, again
Following up on my "pen and pine" posting of about a week ago, here
is another quirk of the current PEN system. Today I received the following:
Date: Wed, 23 Mar 1994 15:17:44 -0500 (EST)
From: SISLAM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
To: cottrell@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Subject: Invalid address
This address is no longer valid.
Please discontinue sending mail to this address immediately.
..but of course *I* didn't send any mail to SISLAM -- I presume
that PEN did, quoting my address in the "from" and "reply to"
fields; and so a piece of information that should have gone to
PEN (concerning SISLAM's non-existence) came to me instead.
