Re: current political economy books
TO: Jim O'Connor
RE: current PE books
Jim,
You might want to look up my most recent books on political economy
written by a Marxist "sociologist" (with no neo-classical or
post-Keynesian jargon)--just plain (non-dogmatic) Marxism of class analysis:
Berch Berberoglu, THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF DEVELOPMENT (Albany: SUNY
Press, 1992).
______. THE LEGACY OF EMPIRE: ECONOMIC DECLINE AND CLASS POLARIZATION IN
THE UNITED STATES (New York: Praeger, 1992).
______. THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF CAPITAL: IMPERIALISM AND CAPITALIST
DEVELOPMENT ON A WORLD SCALE (New York: Praeger, 1987).
Let me know if I can be of help in having you obtain exam copies of these
books.
Regards,
Berch
